Adolescence asks a lot of a person, and it asks even more of LGBTQIA+ young people — questions of identity, coming out, and transition often arrive alongside school, family, and everything else at once.
I work with adolescents the same way I work with adults: as a real relationship, in the here and now, at a pace they set. My background includes years at NYC non-profits like Housing Works and the NYC Anti-Violence Project, and affirming care is the foundation of this practice, not an add-on.
Sessions are 50 minutes, by telehealth across New York and New Jersey, with very limited in-person availability in Flatiron. If you're a parent or caregiver reading this, you're welcome to reach out for a free consultation to talk about whether we'd be a good fit.
